The role in a nutshell:

- Your core mission (The “Why)

• You will form part of the AML, CTF, CPF & Sanctions Team based in South Africa, Malaysia and Indonesia, and you will report to the Team Lead - AML, CTF, CPF & Sanctions in South Africa.

• Our AML, CTF, CPF & Sanctions team is responsible for the implementation of money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing and sanctions risk mitigation controls for Luno's global business.

• Our mission is to create a world-class AML, CTF, CPF & Sanctions Team that keeps both Luno and our customers safe.

• You will work in a fast paced environment, collaborating with other business units, including Engineering, Product, Countries and Legal teams, servicing the business on an international level together with the teams from Africa, Asia Pacific and the UK.

• We make sure we have the processes and information available that enable us to understand our risk, and using this foundation, we respond to any money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing and sanctions related risks in a swift coordinated way.
